We regularly refer candidates to other advisors when their situation isn't our specialty. Referrals have never cost us money in the long run.
Disclose what we can't do.
We're not a law firm. We don't represent you in court. We're consultants who work with attorneys – and we say so plainly.

The things we actively refuse.

- We will not take a case where we believe the probability of harm to you is higher than the probability of benefit.
- We will not accept a case if your timeline is so tight that filing would compromise quality.
- We will not hide which schools are paying partners or steer you toward a school that isn't the best fit for you.
